RUNCORN LINNETS JFC – END OF SEASON TOURNAMENT

Runcorn Linnets JFC are holding our Annual End of Season Tournament this season for Under 7’s through to Under 10’s.

All age groups will be based on the season 2011/12

The Festival will be held at our Millbank Linnets Stadium, Murdishaw Avenue, Runcorn, Halton, WA7 6HP on the following dates:

 

Saturday 5th May 2012

Under 8’s – 9.15 am KO (FULL)

Under 10’s - 2.15 pm KO (Limited spaces left)

 

Sunday 6th May 2012

Under 7’s – 9.15 am KO (FULL)

Under 9’s - 2.15 pm KO (FULL)

 

The format will be 7-a-side with 10 players per squad. There will be 16 teams split into two leagues of eight with the top two in each League qualifying for the knock-out stages of the Cup

The cost of entry is £35 per team, on a first come fist served basis.

 

Once we receive your completed application form back either via email or post your place will be held open for seven days to give your cheque chance to arrive with us.

As soon as all places are filled, you will receive a receipt of payment and confirmation of entry. One week before the tournament you will receive via email a set rules & regulations for the tournament and a map and directions to the venue.

Millbank Linnets Stadium

The Cup runners-up will receive individual medals, the winners will receive individual trophies (max 10 only) and a team Cup.

Every U7s & U8s player will receive a tournament participation Medal (max 10 per team).

Squads shall consist of a maximum of 10 players (only 10 trophies will be available) of which 7 players can be on the field of play at any one time.

 

Please note, that we will be doing our best to make sure that NO signed Centre of Excellence or signed Academy players are involved in the tournament and all teams must provide an FA Club Affiliation Number on application. On the day any team may be asked to produce league player registration documents or affiliated league photo ID at any time by the committee. Any team found in breach of this rule will be eliminated.

 

As well as the great games of junior football on view there will also be many off pitch activities during the day for all of the family to enjoy.  The Linnets Stadium Cafe will be open serving hot & cold  food and drinks, full toilet facilities will be available, fun inflatable’s, football games including a 3 penalty shoot out and a ball through the tyre competition, side stalls, a dedicated professional photographer and more fun available during the event.
