So how does my child sign onto the club for September 2014/15 season?

Every team will be allocated a time slot to attend a registration evening at the Millbank Linnets Stadium.

Present will be:

Junior Secretary

Child Welfare Officer

Treasurer

You will be asked to complete:

  • Club signing on and medical forms
  • League signing on forms for league(s) - where applicable
  • Sign Code or Conducts (Player & Parent/Guardian)
  • Sign Club Fines Agreement form
  • Complete bank Standing Order forms for annual subscriptions
  • Pay signing on fee

What will I need to bring to the registration evening?

  2. Any relevant medical information relating to your child that the Club need to be aware of
  3. Your bank details

NOTE: NO player registrations will be completed without the club being in receipt of a signing on fee and confirmation that Standing Orders have been set up to start at the latest 1st September 2014. Failure to complete our full registration process will result in your child not being eligible to play league or cup games for Linnets.

What is my expected parental commitment to the Club?

When each player signs on for Linnets they and their parents/guardians are committing to working with and supporting the Club to maintain its high standard of practice. Ensure your child attends training and games on match days. Each team member is expected to attend a minimum of two fundraising events over a season (normally 2 x 2 hour bag packing stints) to help with annual running costs of the club and its facilities.

U13s

Every year the Club helps fund a football trip for our boys Under 13s team. Pervious teams have attended European Tournaments in Spain (Barcelona), Portugal (Algarve) and Holland (Amsterdam).

To raise funds the U13s will be holding fundraising events that need to be supported by parents from the whole Club. It has also been agreed that from 2015 it is compulsory that all U13s parents/guardians are expected to provide full volunteer cover for at our annual Linnets EoS Tournament weekend (full 2 days).

We are hoping to extend this annual trip into the Girls U14s age group as well for the 2015/16 season.

2014/15 Subs and signing on fees

All players (unless FA funded teams) are required to adhere to a yearly subscription paid on a monthly basis of £18 pcm via Standing Order or online electronic payment. The Club are NOT taking any cash subs.

The signing on fee (for two leagues) is set at £35 per player
