An excellent start to 2012 for Linnets as every age group win their weekend games.
U7's v Hale
A great game back for the team after 5 weeks without a match. The first half was a scrappy but Linnets settled down in the second half playing some good football. Goals coming from all areas of the pitch, Andrew Law, William Bloomfield, Jack Steele, Alfie Hayes (2) and MoM was Linnets goalkeeper Josh Seniour who was playing outfield had a stormer and even grabbed a goal. Special mention to Hale's goalkeeper who had a excellent game
U8's v Hurricanes
U8s had an eventful 1st game of 2012 giving Hurricanes a hard return to footy. Goal scorers were: Joe Last (2), Mathew Lea (2), Harry Davis (1), Ethan Taburn (2) and Anthony Wilcox (2). MoM was awarded to Bradley ‘the cat’ Smith who kept another clean sheet and was outstanding.
U9's v JFC Pavilions Phantoms
Linnets overran Phantoms 8-0 to go top of the U9s HDJFL with 2 games in hand. Goals coming from hatrick hero Tom Edwards, a brace from Ethan Olubodun and a goal each for Libby Graham, Ben Hough and Captain Niall Roberts. Well done to the whole team. MoM awarded to hardworking Ethan Olubodun for his all round performance and goal of the game, a half volley on the turn which rocketed into the far top corner.
U10's v Heath Rangers Barca
After U10s won a tough U11s Nantwich Town tournament last weekend (the clubs first silverware of the season), the team put in a great team performance on a poor pitch running out 3-1 winners. Goals from Olly Service, George Clotworthy and a fantastic team goal eventually scored by Owen Kennington. MoM - Liam Gobin

Saturday’s HDJFL game against Woolton Argyle ended 3-5 to Linnets. MoM - An outstanding performance by the creative Jack Samuel.
U12's v Excell
Sunday’s MHJFL match saw Linnets run out 5-3 winners for the 2nd day of the weekend. MoM was awarded for performance of his season, winning the midfield scrap - Kieran Lomax

U14's v Whitby Rangers
Beat a spirited Whitby Rangers side 16-0. With Tom Morgan netting 5 and two 2nd half hat tricks from Louis Lunt and Jay Fairclough. Special mention to Keiron Roberts who looked back to his brilliant best. U14s unbeaten run carries on, well done boys. The Gaffer
U15's v St Helens Town
Won 1-0.Great effort by the lads! Goal from Ross Simpson and mom-Tom Turkington.
