16/03/13 U8's v Brookvale KO 2.30 pm Stockham - HDJFL
After a 5 week gap Linnets faced Brookvale and in the first half that lack of football showed. Linnets scored twice but were sloppy and scrappy. Not managing to put may passes together. After a half time pep talk the game completely changed and Linnets passed the ball around for fun. At one stage a 20+ pass sequence lead the linnets from our own box, to a shot in goal that went just wide. Defiantly a game of two half and the second being absolutely superb and a pleasure to watch. Goals came from. Josh Senior (2), Alfie Hayes (2), Luke Smith (1) and Michael Martin (1). MoM was awarded to Ethan Hansen, Brookvale just could not handle him, as his passing and positioning was top class! Ethan also took what the coaches did in training and showed it on the pitch. Fantastic performance by Ethan and the whole team in the second half.

Good al round team performance against Heath Rangers, with goals from Ben Hough, Tom Smith and a brace from Captain Tom Edwards who would have had a bag full if it wasn’t for some fantastic goal keeping and a brave headed stop on the line from a Heath defender. Another valuable 3 points for the lads. MoM was the impressive Jorje Orme, who ran things from the back throughout the game.

17/03/13 U11's v Blacon Youth Tigers KO 2 pm Ref: Adam Woodhouse - CDJFL
The 11s produced some fine football from back to front beating Blacon away 5-0. MoM went to Cole McCourt for his outstanding performance up and down the right wing , goals Ronnie Orme (2), Olly (1), Patto (1) and Ben Forster (1) , all 15 boys should be proud of themselves for playing some great football on a very heavy pitch.

16/03/13 U12's v Cromwell KO 1 pm Woodside - HDJFL
Saturdays game versus Cromwell Athletic started well although we were first to go behind, twice! Which led to a bit of frustration and therefore it was a scrappy game at times but two amazing free kicks by Louis Nickson and a fantastic goal by Brendan Davies secured a 3-2 win for the under 12's. Well done lads!! MoM - our captain, Louis Nickson.
