Match report vs Winstanley Warriors (3G pitch)
An early start for our second game of the season. All 9 lads played brilliant with highlights as follows;
Rio - a good early save, a late cameo upfront and was unlucky not to score!
Oscar - brilliant goals and was all over the pitch showing great energy.
Louis - did the boys a favour by stepping in to start in goal. A great interception and good vision to lay on a goal midway through the first half.
Harry - solid in defence and a great display of finishing, taking his goals like a striker!
Oliver - captain for the day and scored a great individual goal after intercepting in our own half.
Rhys - a quick thinking assist from a long throw in and got on the score sheet with a poachers effort in the second half.
Luca - hit one of his goals so well that it seemed to make a hole in the net! Some very unselfish passes to Rio late on.
Anthony - an awesome strike that flew into the top corner. Well done for completing the match in goal to give Rio a run out.
Logan - a display of great finishing from some tough angles and a brilliant assist for Harry after a skillful run down the wing.
Man of the Match jointly awarded to Luca & Oliver for their team work and goals.
Well done to both teams.
