This Thursday at 8pm, Halton’s Mark Gorry Foundation will be at the Millbank Linnets Stadium to deliver an awareness session around the signs and symptoms of testicular cancer and show how to perform a self examination.

The Mark Gorry Foundation was set up by local lad Mark and his wife Leah Gorry in 2009 shortly before Mark lost his battle with testicular cancer at the age of 24.
Mark's wish was to raise as much awareness of the signs and symptoms of TC and how lads should check themselves because when caught early enough, it is 96% curable.
Although TC is a rare form of cancer it is on the increase and is the most common form of cancer in men between the ages of 25-35 and has been known in lads as young as 15.
MGF try to make this a fun session but with a serious message and they hope to see you there.
